Hi. American Canyon Mayor, Cecil Shaver will be reading a Proclamation for our Veterans in appreciation of their service at the 11/3/05 City Council Meeting which begins at 7:30 p.m. The Proclamation will be read again at the Veterans Appreciation Ceremony on Veterans Day which will be held in front of the Am Cyn Police Department on 11/11/05 @ 11:00 a.m. (If you attend, you can not only extend a personal thanks to military veterans, but you can find out why the 11th day of the 11th month at 11:00 a.m. is so significant to this day.) Anyway, I sure hope you all get a chance to attend the City Council meeting and/or Veteran's Day Appreciation Ceremony.  The ceremony is being organized by City of Am Cyn, American Canyon Troop Support (ACTS) and the Am Cyn VFW #11099. Fran Lemos, ACTS and Am Cyn Starbucks will be providing refreshments at the end of the Veterans Day Ceremony. So, spread the word!!! Hope to see you there. Sindy.
